Obituary of Marilyn L. Walden

Marilyn L. (Cardella) Walden, age 86, of Kingston, died on Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Emory S. Walden, Jr.; loving mother of Ronald Walden of Kingston; devoted grandmother of Aaron Walden of Virginia; dear sister of Grace Rowan of Middleborough, Dianne Halpin of Wisconsin and the late Joseph Cardella. Marilyn will be remembered most for her beautiful singing voice that brought so much joy to many. Calling hours have been omitted. Graveside Services at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, off of Conery Avenue, Bourne, on Friday, April 6 at 10:30 AM. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury, on Saturday, April 14 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
