Reta P. (Francis) Siegfried, 92, of Plymouth, died April 1 at Baypath Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Duxbury. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Siegfried. Reta was the loving mother of Joanne Washburn of Fleming Island, FL, Diane Corbett of Plymouth, and Janet Kitchen and her husband Lee of Zachery, LA. She is also survived by three loving grandchildren Barbara Caddell Dawhare, Lynn M. Corbett, and Mark E. Corbett as well as four nieces and their families and five great grandchildren.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, a daughter of Ernest H. Francis and Maude McKie Francis, she was raised and educated in Milton, MA. Reta and Joe raised their family in Stoughton, later moving to Plympton, and then retiring to Pinehurst Mobile Estates in Plymouth. Reta was predeceased by her brother Edwin Francis and her sister Elsie Roper.
A bookkeeper by profession, she loved her family and many friends, enjoyed reading, playing bridge, braiding rugs, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stoughton and Plymouth.
Arrangements by the Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver, followed by a private family memorial service.
