Deloyce L. Burton, of Kingston, passed away on February 17, 2012. She was 86 years old. Deloyce was born, raised and educated in Texas, where she earned her degree in teaching. She married her husband William J. Burton during World War II, and they were married for 68 years. They moved to South Boston, where they raised their three daughters, and lived for 42 years. They moved to Kingston 27 years ago following William's retirement. Deloyce was a fantastic cook, and seamstress, and enjoyed knitting, and crocheting. She was active in the Kingston Council on Aging, as well as with the Town and Country Estates functions. She was an exceptional wife and mother, whose family was most important to her. She will be dearly missed. Beloved wife of the late William J. Burton. Loving mother of Donna J. Fitzgerald, and the late Paul E. Fitzgerald of Hanover, Eileen M. Burwell and her husband Paul G. of N. Weymouth, and the late Patricia R. Cameron. Mother in law to Robert Cameron of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Renee Smith, Chrisitne O'Connell, Paul Fitzgerald Jr, Laura Adams, Robert Cameron Jr, Corrin Reimer, Patricia Quinn, Tracy Jones, and great grandmother of 20. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 21st from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, on Wednesday, February 22nd at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org.
