It is with sadness we announce the sudden death of Frank Madeiros, 27, of Plymouth. Frank died in a hiking accident in Alabama on December 10th, 2011. Frank is the beloved son of David F. Madeiros (formerly of Cambridge) and Martha Madeiros, maiden name Prunier, (formerly of Lynn) of Plymouth. Frank graduated from Silver Lake High School in 2002 and worked as an Electrician for the I.B.E.W Local 103 in Boston. Frank recently hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine and was an accomplished hiker and adventurer. He is survived by his loving parents David and Martha, and is the dear brother of Julie Madeiros Somlyody and her husband Steve of Arlington, George Glidden and his wife Jeanette of North Attleboro, Allyn Madeiros and his wife Cheryl of Lake City Florida, David Glidden of Warren, Rhode Island, Martha Anne Madeiros Larivee and her husband John of Attleboro, Jessie Madeiros and her fiancée Tim Mitchell of Plymouth, Laura Madeiros and her fiancée Chris Kelly of Lakeville, Emily Peters and her husband Robert (active – US Army/Afghanistan) of Attleboro, and Michael Madeiros and his wife Francesca of Plymouth. He was a wonderful uncle to 25 nieces and nephews - Christopher, Matthew, Melanie, Desiree, Solene, Jimmy, Brandon, Dylan, Katie, Nathan, Cameron, Danielle, Spencer, Brianna, Natalie, Kylie, Nicole, Jake, Jacob, Marissa, Alyssa, Sophie, Haley, Luke & Bobby. He was loved and cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. He was predeceased by his brother, James Glidden of Plymouth. Please join our family in a celebration of Frank's life. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00AM, and will conclude with interment in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth, immediately following will be a remembrance at the Radisson in Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Friday, December 16th from 4:00-8:00PM.
