Obituary of Jesse P. Guilford

Jesse P. Guilford (Billy), at the age of 62, of Pembroke, formerly of Newton, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He was a former employee of Ark-les Switch for many years in Watertown. Jesse was a Vietnam Veteran for the US Army. He enjoyed his big family and his dog, Missy. Jesse was the beloved son of the late Jesse P. Guilford, Jr. & Rosalie (Harmon) Guilford; loving brother of Nancy & John McKinney of Pembroke, Paula & Joe LaCroix of Marlboro, Donna & Tom Torchio of Dedham, Diane & Peter Shepherd of Kingston, Charlene & Bruce Standish of Carver, Kathy & Pat Panaggio of Newton, Charlie & Lana Guilford of Pembroke, Jack & Eileen Guilford of Plympton, Jimmy & Paula Guilford of Halifax, Bobby & Carol Guilford of Pembroke and Joan & Jeff London of Pembroke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jesse was the uncle of the late Charles (Joey) Guilford. Calling hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, Pembroke, on Tuesday, December 13, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 14 at 10:00 AM, followed by his funeral Mass at Saint Thecla's Church, 145 Washington Street, Pembroke, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Elm Street, Pembroke. Contributions in Jesse's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
