Obituary of Eric C. Johnson

Eric C. Johnson, age 50, of Carver, died on Friday, December 2, 2011, at his home. Born in Middleborough, he was the son of the late Charles & Joan (Mosher) Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked for his father at the Mahutchette Bog in North Carver and was a cranberry owner and grower for his own cranberry bogs in South Carver. He loved fishing, boating and enjoyed helping people. Eric is survived by his brother, Mark S. Johnson of Carver; his nephews, Andrew Johnson, Adam Johnson and Alex Johnson; his grandmother, Marjorie Mosher of Carver; his aunts, Priscilla F. Rosenthal of Avon, CT, Bette J. Maki of South Carver, Jane Gallagher of Middleborough and his uncle, Richard A. Johnson of South Carver. Calling hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Thursday, December 8, from 4:00-8:00 PM. His funeral service will be held at the United Parish of Carver, 115 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Friday, December 9 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Plymouth County Cemetery, South Meadow Road, Plymouth.
