Sandy worked in the construction industry all of his life. His work brought him great satisfaction and many lifelong friends from his years with Vappi Construction , Sienna Construction and others. His attention to detail and lifelong fascination with trains led him to his retirement pastime of building a model train railway, a hobby he enjoyed with his childhood friend Bill Herman. In recent years, Sandy served as a board member of the Arbor Hills Condo Association. Sandy was most happy surrounded by his family and was extremely proud of his four beautiful grandchildren. Sandy is survived by his wife and lifelong love Jane Bunyon Ford of Kingston. He was the loving father of Juli Ford Alhadeff and her husband Rod Alhadeff of Plymouth and Chris Ford and his wife Liz Stella-Ford of Plymouth.
