Shirley Fisher, of Sagamore Beach, MA and Stuart, FL, passed away on October 26th, at home, while embraced by her loving family. She had fought an 11-year battle with cancer.

Her life was spent in Duxbury, Osterville and most recently Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts as well as Vero Beach and Stuart, Florida.
Central to Shirley was anything to do with her family, closest friends and the ocean. Key to her personality was that anyone who spent time with her came away feeling great about life and themselves, no matter the circumstances. She celebrated her 83rd Birthday in proper style, just 3 days before passing away.
Shirley shared a wonderful life with, and is survived by her loving husband, Champe A. Fisher. She is predeceased by her eldest daughter and survived by her three children and four step-children. She leaves a total of 11 remarkable grandchildren.
Shirley’s most precious relationships also included a number of the very best of friends, with whom she shared as many as 70 years of her life.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 5th at 1:00 o’clock at Pilgrim Church in Duxbury, MA. The burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley hoped that donations would be made to the American Cancer Society, or other charity related to cancer research.
