Marjorie (Willgoose) Bentley, 91, died peacefully on October 6, 2011. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she always put family first and was happy to officiate at every family gathering. She was a former Den Mother in Cub Scouts, a Campfire Leader, a Senior Deaconess and Sunday School Superintendent at the First Church in Weymouth. She was also President of the Ladies' Benevolent Society of the Church. She lovingly worked on the Abigail Adams Garden in Weymouth Heights, an active member of the Weymouth Garden Club, was a long time hospital volunteer with her husband, Donald, and provided meals on wheels to numerous people. Marjorie is the former Marjorie Willgoose of Needham, and is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald of Duxbury, her daughters Evelyn Horstman of Augusta, ME, Elaine Grace of Bedford, MA, and her sons Robert of Carver, MA and Ronald of Brooklyn, NY as well as five Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
