Dear Paula, We want you to know how much we enjoyed Kevin's company at our Christmas gatherings, expecially when he impersonated Santa Claus....The most memorable time was when he was going to surprise everyone by showing up all dressed in his Santa's outfit and we would not let him in the house fearing....he was some deranged person roaming around the neighborhood. After peeking in all of the windows and freezing for about 10 minutes, we finally were told that he was surpose to be surprising the children and we did let him frozen stiff!! the party was a success and everyone thought he was the best! Yes, Kevin was fun and very witty and we all will miss him and his wonderful smile...Love, Billy and Marie Gee

My sincerest condolences to Paula and the entire Volpe family. I had the pleasure of working with Kevin for the past 2 and half years. I am the facility manager in south Florida where Kevin ran all of the projects. He was a true team player and would do anything to help a friend. When Kevin would come down to conduct site tours, Paula would take the car to the Sawgrass Mills Mall! So I would have the pleasure of chauffeuring Kevin around south Florida and going for lunch! We both enjoyed Lester’s Diner (Kevin’s favorite was meatloaf and mashed potatoes). The deal was if I drove…he would treat! He was amazed at the way I drove down here….he even used to laugh at me because I would point to where I wanted to turn and tell the other driver out loud where I was going. I used to laugh and say I have to drive that way I will never get to my destination. He would hold on tight!
I never got the chance to meet Paula, but he always had wonderful things to tell me about her. Kevin was a mentor to me as I had never worked on projects before. He taught me so much, and for that I am forever grateful. We were emailing the night before he left us on earth. I emailed him back and said “What are you still doing awake? :-). Just got to my room...safe and sound!!! See yah in the morning.” His response was “Work never sleeps these days...see ya tomorrow.” Kevin, I will truly miss you!

I'd like to extend my heartfelt condolences to Kevin's wife, Paula and the entire Volpe family. I can't express how much of a shock Kevin's passing was. I work for UnitedHealthcare and was the project liaison on the Sunrise to Miramar move in 2008-2009. We remained friends when Kevin learned that my husband is diabetic. Kevin Passed along helpful information on diabetic products. I will miss Kevin's wonderful sense of humor and that terrific MA accent. From 'Belle' to Kevin, see you down the trail, my friend.

We were so sad to hear the news Paula. Kevin was such a special person, his quick wit, easy laugh and big heart will always be remembered. My days at Bay and Michael's at Cisco wouldn't have been the same without Kevin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole Volpe family. xoxo

Dear Paula,
Judi and I are so very sorry to hear of Kevin's passing, he was a funny, kind and generous person. We will always remember the time that we spent with you both in New Hampshire skiing and enjoying North Conway. In addition I owe a tremendous amount to Kevin's friendship, mentoring and support without which I would never have made it in the architectural field. Please know that our thoughts are with you.
Love, Wayne and Judi
