Please share a memory of Thaddeus to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Thaddeus (Teddy) Kowilcik, 80, of Plymouth, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 18, 2024 following complications from Alzheimer's Disease.  Teddy was born in Boston, MA on November 25, 1943, the son of Thaddeus and Alice Kowilcik.  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy, along with his son Chris and wife Michelle and daughter Kaity and husband John.  Teddy had 4 wonderful grandchildren that will miss him dearly including Ryan, Jamie, Taylor and Lexi.  Teddy grew up in Squantum, Mass with his 5 younger siblings.  He was preceded in death by his brother Peter, and leaves behind his younger brother MIchael, along with 3 sisters Vicki, Lisa and Kim.

Teddy was a teacher in Hanover, MA for 15 years before committing full time to his passion for building.  He started his own construction company building homes across the South Shore, Cape and Islands.  Although he created beautiful homes, it was his love of the relationships he developed along the way the made his work meaningful.  Teddy was an avid golfer and loved the challenge of competition, but his true gift was the time he spent attending all the sporting events for his children and grandchildren.  He never missed a game, recital, concert or awards banquet.  You could always count on one thing, and that was that Teddy was always going to be there!

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 22nd from 4-8 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street (Rt. 106), Kingston, MA.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd at 10:00 AM at the Saint Josephs Church in Kingston followed by a burial at the St. Joseph's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Ted Kowilcik to the Pat Roche Hospice House in Hingham, MA. or the NVNA & Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.  Online donations can be made at NVNA.org (and follow prompts to select the Pat Roche Hospice House)
