Please share a memory of Marcia A. (Wilbur) to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Marcia A. (Wilbur) Belmont-Bilak, passed away on October 13, 2023 at Beth Israel Hospital after a very lengthy battle with dementia. Marcy was born at Boston Hospital on September 25,1944 to Howard and Sarah Wilbur of Randolph. She grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph high school in 1962. She loved to be around people, dance and was on a billiard team for many years. In her earlier years, she enjoyed painting and drawing in her free time and ran a personalized childrens book business with her best friend Judy. Marcy owned and operated The Carriage Room Pub restaurant and Popcorn Plus both in Plymouth with her husband Tom Belmont.

Marcy was diagnosed with dementia 10 years ago. Her greatest fear was  that it would take away the memories she had of her family. Her daughter and grandchildren were her everything and she was beyond proud of them. Through the years this horrible disease slowly took everything from her. She may not have always known everyone’s names but her face lit up when she saw them and she always made sure they knew they were loved.

Marcy is survived by her loving daughter Susan and her husband Justin Keene of Plympton, Her beloved grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Keene of Plympton and her best friend Judy Valante of Randolph, who she has known since childhood.

Marcy will be buried at Central Cemetery in Randolph. Services will be private.
