Please share a memory of Pauline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Pauline “Polly“ (Connifey) Isenberg, 81, of Bryantville, MA, died peacefully on January 7, 2013, at Blaire House in Milford, MA. Polly was born on October 5, 1931, daughter of John and Celia Connifey. She was the beloved wife of 61 years of William (Bill) Isenberg. Polly was the devoted mother of Paula Connolly and her husband Martin of Sandwich, MA, Deby Carlson and her husband Peter of Franklin, MA, and Bill Isenberg and his wife Lori of Taneytown, MD. She was a wonderful grandmother to Ryan Connolly and his wife Stephanie, Dana Robinson and her husband Scott, Nikolas Carlson and his wife Kristen, Beth Carlson, Abby Isenberg, Katy Isenberg and Christine Isenberg and great-grandmother of Ava Connolly and Callie Robinson. She was the dear sister of John Connifey and his wife Grace, and the late Robert Connifey; and sister-in-law of David Isenberg and Shirley Bowman, who was also her “best friend“. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Avon, MA and was a graduate of Avon High School. She loved cooking for her family and friends, gardening and sitting in the sun at her home on Stetson Pond. Bill and Polly met at Avon Junior High School, married and raised their family in Avon before moving to New Jersey and Maryland. At the age of 60, Polly packed up her bags and moved to Bangkok, Thailand with Bill where Bill worked for Reebok, Inc. They enjoyed many exotic vacations in Southeast Asia including trips to Burma, Vietnam, Singapore, China, and Australia. A very adventurous Polly even took an elephant ride. At retirement, Polly moved with Bill to her favorite home on Stetson Pond and spent many years enjoying her family and friends and playing with her grandchildren at “the Pond”. A special thank you to the caring staff at Blaire House of Milford and New England Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of the elderly. As Polly requested, visiting hours and funeral services have been omitted. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Polly's memory to the Pembroke Council on Aging, 144 Center Street, Pembroke, MA 02359.
