Melissa Sieminski ,53, passed away unexpectedly on March 19th in Weymouth. Melissa was the daughter of the late Michael Garrity of (Duxbury//Whitingham VT) and the late Jill Van Weel of (Duxbury/Centerville).

Melissa was raised in Norwell and Marshfield. She also spent much of her childhood in Duxbury. She went to Marshfield high school and graduated from the Pine Ridge School in Williston, VT. From there she worked as a receptionist at a Doctors office and also enjoyed being a CNA.

Melissa is survived by her two children, Caitlin, of Kingston and Teddy, of Kingston. She also had a large family of uncles, aunts and cousins as well as friends. In addition, she has a half brother, Will.

Melissa enjoyed spending time with her children whether on Duxbury beach or watching their activities. She was fond of the 4th of July parade in Duxbury with the Garrity clan, in particular her late grandmother Pat "Mima" Garrity. Melissa also enjoyed the Cape and seeing her cousins on her mother's side. In her younger years she enjoyed tennis, skiing and was able to travel Europe with her mother. Melissa will be missed by those who knew her. 

There will be a service for Melissa on Friday April 10th @ 12:00 pm. at Shepherds Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston, Massachusetts.
