John Robert Martin Obituary
John Robert Martin, 62, of Pelham, New Hampshire passed away unexpectedly at home on February 15th, 2026.
Born on January 22nd, 1964 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Robert and Valerie Martin. John attended Silver Lake high school. Shortly after graduating he joined the United States Army and proudly served for three years, followed by another three years in the reserves. After being discharged he worked his way up from a flexographic pressman to production manager for many years at lion labels and later m&m labels/ID Images. He was the commander of legion post 100 in Pelham, NH and built many friendships there. He was known for his love of models, cars, and all things military history. He was a big animal lover, enjoyed nascar races, visiting museums, and loved spending time with family.
John is survived by his son David Martin and his grand daughter Ivy Gayle Martin of Carver, Massachusetts. His son Allen Martin of Hanson, Massachusetts. His mother Valerie (Anttila) Martin of Claremont, NH. His sister Deborah Martin-Anderson of Ogden, Utah. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Martin.
Burial Services and military honors will be held at the MA National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne MA on Friday, March 20th at 1:15pm. A celebration of life will be held March 20th at the Hanson AA, Hanson from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
