Christopher Jacob Burbine Obituary

Christopher Jacob Burbine, of Carver MA,  was a kind-hearted soul with a deep capacity for love, especially for the people he chose to let close to him. Those who truly knew him understood that he felt deeply and cared fiercely.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Mary, with whom he shared more than 23 years of life together, including 15+ years of marriage. Their relationship was built on love, laughter, and quiet strength, and Chris deeply valued the life they built together.

He was a dedicated father who absolutely loved his children. Being a dad was one of the greatest joys of his life, and his love for his kids was unwavering and evident to everyone around him.

Chris worked as a truck driver and took pride in his work, especially driving throughout the South Shore to take care of his customers.

Among friends and family, he was known for his infectious laugh, kind nature, and genuine heart. He loved to laugh with friends and brought lightness and humor into the lives of those around him. To many, he will always be remembered as a kind-hearted man who loved deeply and lived sincerely.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Burbine; his children, Alana and Jacob Burbine; his parents, Paula and David Burbine; his brother and sister-in-law, Marc and Chelsea Burbine, mother in-law Jean McGillicuddy and his extended family and in-laws, Caz and Colleen Gadles, Brian McGillicuddy, Michael and Caitlyn St. Martin, Sean and Sara McGillicuddy, and his eleven nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston, MA. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5–8 PM. At the familys request, the burial will be private.
