William Earl Waterman (“Billy”), 67, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on December 24, 2025, in New Bedford.

William was born in Brockton, MA, on November 16, 1958, to Earl L. Waterman and Mildred Waterman. He worked as a Fiberglass Specialist for Boston Whaler for more than fifteen years. He loved fishing, camping, collecting coins, drinking coffee, and spending time with his family.

William is survived by his wife, Ellen D. Waterman of New Bedford; his children, Christopher and Marianne of Conway, South Carolina, and Jeffrey and Elizabeth of Middleboro; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Abigail, Annabelle, Christie, Hannah, and Aiden. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathleen Norris, Diane Cole, Steven Waterman, and Michael Waterman; his stepchildren, Christine, Candice, and Mathew; and his step-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mildred Waterman; his siblings, Linda Waterman, David Waterman, Darlene Walker, and Edward Waterman.

Visitation will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
