Robert Peter Rittling Obituary

Robert Peter Rittling, 85, of Kingston, MA, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. Robert was born in Buffalo, NY on January 20, 1940, to Robert W. and Elizabeth (nee Stroman) Rittling. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Judy (nee Pepe), his children Peter Jr. (AnnMarie), Marybeth Bartlett, Gregory, Suzanne (Barry) Doust. Dearest grandfather of Aidan, Alyssa and Quinn.


Brother of James (Dr. Mary), Elizabeth (Dr. Craig) Blum, Marg (Dr. Micheal) Ringer and the late Catherine Rogers, Mark (late Margery), Joseph (Shelly), Charlie (Leslie), Edward (Apryl), John and Gregory (Susie), Richard (Karen) Rittling; survived by many nieces and nephews.


Robert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a BBQ master and an accomplished golfer. He was always the first one on the dance floor and the last to leave the party. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.


A celebration of life will be held in Buffalo, NY this spring at St. Marks Church.
