Donna Marie (White) Emond, age 75, of Carver, wife of Marc Steven Emond, passed on to the Lord surrounded by her loving family on November 21, 2025.

Donna was born in Taunton, MA. Daughter of Frances (Ryan) White and Almon White. She was married to Marc, the love of her life, for over 51 years. She is survived by her son and daughter and their spouses; Marc and Kristin Emond of Carver and Jillian and Glenn Lawrence of Manomet. Donna is also survived by her brothers and sister and their spouses; Deborah and George Hinckley of Marstons Mills, Almon White Jr. of Albion, RI, Mike and Diane White of Taunton, Steven and Jane White of Dighton, and Marianne White and her partner Joseph Fernandes of Northport, FL. Her sister Diane White and Diane’s son Nicholas Branco predeceased Donna. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Jennifer and her husband Jonathan Joubert, Kyle White, Ryan Branco, and Christin and her husband Eric Yeoman.

Donna was a graduate of Lowell State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. After having children, Donna returned to school to become an RN, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Bristol Community College. She worked as an RN first at Morton Hospital in Taunton and then went to Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, where she worked over 25 years in the ICU until her retirement in 2013.

Donna was a violinist and a lover of music. She lived for her family, loved her dog Kalee, and enjoyed being with her friends in South Meadow Village.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Avita, part of the Stafford Hill Assisted Living, for their loving care and attention to Donna over the last year and a half of her life. Also, great thanks go out to Tides Hospice for assisting Donna in her last days.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 4th, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 130 Main Street, Carver. A graveside service will follow at Central Cemetery in Carver.
