Shannon Lin Allsopp (Davidson), 47, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025 in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born June 8, 1978, in Quincy, Massachusetts, to Roy and Linda Davidson. Shannon is survived by her devoted partner, Walter Dejardin, and the father of her children, Christopher Allsopp. She leaves behind her three beloved sons: Christopher Allsopp Jr., Shaun Allsopp and his partner Alanna Macpherson, and Dakota Allsopp and his wife Kasey Allsopp. She is also survived by her cherished brothers: Kenneth "Eddie" Davidson and his spouse Erica Conterno, Michael Davidson and his partner Breanna Duffy, and William “Billy” Davidson. As well as her nieces and nephews: Aubrey, Lillyana, and Ava Davidson, Dylan and Gabriella Wood; additionally, many dear friends who became family.

​Shannon thrived in her career as a pharmacy technician at CVS, where her kindness and sense of humor touched countless lives. However, her true passion lay in bringing joy to everyone she touched, whether it was sharing a laugh or mixing drinks and entertaining behind the bar.

​Shannon lived a life full of unwavering love, infectious laughter, and a profound dedication to those she cherished most. Those who knew Shannon describe her as bubbly, funny, and with a zest for life, with a heart larger than the world itself. She consistently put everyone above herself, the central value she instilled in her children, the importance of family and loyalty. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, regardless of the circumstances. Shannon just had a way with people unlike any other, a gift that often drew the envy of others.

She was a free spirit, the life of the party, always ready for the next adventure, who's life's motto was: 'Live every day as if it were your last'.

Shannon will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her, but her free spirit, laughter, and deep love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

​In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to Lancaster SPCA of South Carolina or St. Jude's Children's hospital.

Her services will be held at Shepherd’s Funeral Home in Carver, Massachusetts, on Saturday, November 8, 2025 2pm-6pm. Friends and family are invited to gather in honor of Shannon’s life and to offer their love and support to her family.
