Michelle Anne LaGreca passed away peacefully on October 26,2025 at the age of 49 while residing at Mary McCarthy Hospice home in Sandwich MA where family and friends were able to visit, laugh cry and reminisce with her before her passing. Born on May 18,1976 In Plymouth,MA, she was welcomed into the LaGreca family by her parents, Roger and Anne her two older brothers Roger Henry and Christopher A . Michelle grew up in Duxbury, MA graduating in the class of 1994 and from Bryant College in 1999.
Michelle was blessed to be employed by Surmount, commercial real estate platform, As an Operations Manager, a job she loved and continued working until shortly before entering Hospice Care. Competitive in every aspect of her life while also being fiercely loyal with an infectious laugh and a smile (with dimples) that would win your heart.
Growing up Michelle was an accomplished equestrian competing with Cypress Wind (Cy) in New England events, as an adult, Michelle found her love turning to biking and running where she met new friends on the Spinal tap team. She competed in the MS Cape Cod getaway ride. They rode over 150 miles in Two days from Boston to Providencetown. Michelle’s priorities in life were Faith, Family and Friends. She was a wonderful cook, watching the competitive cooking and baking shows and cheering for her favorite chefs. Every get together was an event well planned out and executed! Everyone on her Christmas card list waited with anticipation to see what she had designed for that year. No Hallmark card was good enough.
Michelle had many friends, as many do today with social media, but the difference with Michelle was she kept them for life. She kept in touch, she worried about them and she prayed for them .Michelle wanted her obituary to make it clear that her greatest joy. In life was being a Mom. The blessing of being able to raise her two daughters Mia and Sophie to be the accomplished, strong and caring young ladies they are today. “They are my legacy.!”
Michelle is survived by her daughters Mia Anne Vagnini and Sophie Anne Vagnini, Her parents Roger J and Anne R (Santos) LaGreca, brothers Roger Henry LaGreca and Christopher A LaGreca Sr.and Melissa (Pizzimenti) LaGreca , nieces: Juliana LaGreca, Natalia LaGreca, nephews : Christopher A LaGreca Jr and Zachary T LaGreca. Many loving and supportive members of her extended family, three especially close friends during her life Erin, Gina and DeAnna and the many others who accompanied her on her journey with food donations rides and constant support. Michelle noted, yes she left tons of them, is that this a Happy occasion no Black allowed. Services are as follow:
Calling hours will be held on Friday November 7, 2025 at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main Street Kingston,MA from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Saturday November 8 at St Kateri Catholic Church 140 S Meadow Rd, Plymouth,MA
Burial will be private
