Joy Marie Marble, 61, of Halifax, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, surrounded by her four children.

Born and raised in Halifax, Joy devoted her life to family and community. She shared 32 years of marriage and a lifelong partnership with Lawrence Marble Jr. Together they raised four children—Kyle, Kurt, Brad, and Donna Marble—and later welcomed her greatest joys, three grandchildren: Tucker, Bear, and Rose.

A natural caregiver, Joy supported her parents, in-laws, and many others throughout her life. She worked with dedication and determination, running successful construction and real estate businesses, while also serving her community as a member of the Halifax Beautification Committee.

Joy will be remembered for her generosity, quick wit, and unwavering strength. She poured her heart into motherhood—supporting her children through every stage of life and making it her mission to instill lasting morals and values that continue to shape and guide their lives today.

She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Her memory will live on in all whose lives she touched.

Services for Joy will be held on Friday, September 19th from 3-7pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston, a Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Of The Lake Parish in Halifax on Saturday, September 20th at 9am followed by a burial at the Central Cemetery in Halifax.
