Edward J. Haumann July 26, 1940 - September 8, 2025 Edward J. Haumann, 85, a lifelong resident of Pembroke, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 26, 1940, in Revere, Massachusetts, he was the son of Howard and Margaret (Peter's) Haumann. Ed grew up in Chelsea, attending local schools, and later resided in Quincy and Pembroke for 58 years. Prior to his tenure at General Dynamics in Quincy, he held various positions, including working for FEMA in the logistics department. Ed was renowned for his kindness and always took pleasure in helping others with a smile. During his time at General Dynamics, Ed was invited to ship christenings and served as softball commissioner; he also held the position of main guard at the main gate. Ed's hobbies included visiting Maine and going to the casino. Ed was married to Paula (may) Haumann for 61 years, and they had three children: Debbie, Steve, and David. Ed is also survived by six grandchildren: Mitchel, who predeceased him, Richard, David Jr., Nicole, Bradley, and Rachael; and step-grandfather to Sean and Eric. Additionally, Ed is survived by six great-grandchildren: Joey, Jamie, Charlotte, Briella, Eliza, Duncan, Holly, and Audrey. Ed is survived by his siblings, Mary, Caroline, and Joe; sister-in-law Nancy and Leona. Predeceased by Howie and his wife Ann, Madeline and her husband Gary, Catherine and her husband Billy, Leona's husband Bill, and Caroline's husband Tony.
