Richard Michael Walsh, 61, passed away peacefully in the early hours of August 2nd, 2025. Rick was a loved, respected and dedicated mechanic at his Hanson Service Center business for over 25 years. He was truly talented in his field as he could, without a doubt, fix just about anything. He went on to teach his son Richard the business that they ran together for the past decade.

Richard was a loving father to his son Richard and daughter Kerry. He is survived by his father Fazal Ahmad; wife Kimberly Walsh; His sisters Susan Walsh and Barbara Walsh; His brother Michael Walsh and wife Sharon; His brother Ataul Ahmad and wife Jessica; His Aunt Elaine Silva. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Anne Ahmad and his sister Anne Rix.  

He will be missed deeply by all who knew his kind and generous heart, quick wit and humor.  

Memorial services will be held Friday evening August 22nd 2025 between the hours of 4:00-7:30 at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main Street, Kingston MA.
