Beryl Joyce Cummings – March 6, 2025
After a courageous battle with cancer, Beryl passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born on October 7, 1947 in Boston, Beryl was raised on the South Shore and continued to live the rest of her life in various towns in the area. She was passionate about taking care of people which was reflected in her long-time career as a home health aide, caring for the elderly. She was proud of the decision she made later in life to commit to a life of sobriety, and celebrated her 36th year of sobriety this year.
She will be missed and remembered by her loved ones including her daughter Tammy Douglas and husband Jim Lanczycki, sister JoAnn Price, niece Lisa Ashlock, and grandson Joseph Douglas, along with several other friends and extended relatives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Beth Israel Medical Deaconess Cancer Center, https://www.bidmc.org/giving
