Kevin “Smitty” Smith

October 18, 1961 – June 21, 2025

Kevin Smith, known as “Smitty,” of Carver, Massachusetts, passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 63.

Born on October 18, 1961, in Weymouth, Kevin lived a life full of laughter, stories, and love for the outdoors. He found peace and joy in simple pleasures — especially fishing at John’s Pond, checking his lobster traps along the canal, and playing softball. Kevin was the kind of person who made friends wherever he went with his easygoing spirit.

He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Brianna, who was his pride, joy, and light of his life, and his grandson, Everett. He is also survived by his siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Carver Sportsman Club from 4:30 to 8:30 PM, where friends and family are invited to share memories and honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many. Kevin will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
