Evan Zachary Ellis, 19, of Plympton, MA passed away suddenly on Monday, June 23, 2025, following a motorcycle crash not far from his home in Plympton. Evan was born on December 4, 2005 in Weymouth, MA. He is survived by his Father, Bryan Ellis of Kingston, MA, his mother, Stacey (Nichols) Connor of Plympton, MA, his step father Michael Connor of Plympton, MA, his brother Jake and sister Delaney also of Plympton, MA, grandmother Janice Nichols of Plympton,MA, girlfriend Ava McDowell of Rhode Island, aunts and uncles John and Cathy Ellis of Milford, MA, Donna Donnelly of Kingston, MA, Michael and Karen Ellis of Kingston, MA, Thomas Ellis of East Freetown, MA, Linda Ellis of East Bridgewater, MA, Michael Nichols of Kingston, MA, Brenda (Buszka) Nichols of Falmouth, MA and his kitten “Frank Ocean”. He alsoleaves behind a large social circle consisting of close friends and acquaintances.
Evan attended Dennett Elementary School in grades K-6, Silver Lake Regional Middle School, and Silver Lake Regional High School, graduating in 2024 from the CTE Metal Fabrication/Welding program. Evan was an active young man and an avid outdoorsman. He was always on the move, enjoying hobbies and activities like fishing, tinkering with and modifying his truck, watching horseback riding, specifically barrel racing, and more recently, he joined a group of fellow street bike enthusiasts. He was a talented Tig Welder and was actively seeking a career with The Pipefitters Union.
Evan was his own person and he made the most of his young life. He embraced any opportunity for adventure and carried with him a charismatic sense of humor and a heart of gold. His close friends would describe him as “that friend” - the one who you could call on to always be there, whether to lend a hand with a car repair, throw a line in the water, take a joy ride or to put a smile on your face with his unending positivity. No matter his friends' struggle, he exuded kindness and an optimism that turned a bad day into a better day.
Evan, “Ev”, “EZE” may be gone from this world too soon, but he will NEVER be forgotten among those who had the honor of knowing him and loving him.

Please join us in remembering Evan. Services will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 30th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and a service will follow on Tuesday July 1st at 11 am. You are welcome to join family and friends for a gathering following the service. Details will be provided at the service.
