She graduated from Fairhaven High School class of 72, and went on to complete her undergrad at Bridgewater State College, and finally her masters at Anna Maria college. She started her career at New England telephone company and went on to complete it at Verizon. While at Verizon she was a trailblazer in her field and the go to problem solver.

Anyone who knew Nancy will tell you she never liked to just take it easy. She always enjoyed getting up and going. Upon her retirement in 2015 she started Volunteering at both the local hospital and Kingston Council on Aging. She always enjoyed helping people from the little babies in the nicu to the elderly. Her quick wit kept everyone on their toes and her laugh was infectious.

One of Nancy’s greatest joys in life was being the wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert (Bob) Francis Oneill whom she spent 38 beautiful years earth side with. She was incredibly proud of her son ETNC Shawn Eliot Oneill currently serving in Norfolk, Va.

Though known as Nancy to most she would tell you one of her most favorite names was Mimi. She loved her grandkids with her whole heart.

Nancy enjoyed the beach. She loved swimming especially in her pool. She loved to travel. She enjoyed taking leisurely drives and was always down to talk about cars. She loved her cats,Romulus and Otis, and wherever she was they weren’t far behind.
