Katherine “Kathy” Grigorian-Handscom, of Wrentham, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born and raised in Watertown, she was the beloved daughter of Theresa and the late Grigor Grigorian. She worked at CFE Seafoods in Auburndale for nearly thirty-five years.

Those who know Kathy know that her true passion in life was being a mother to her four children. She loved doing everything with her kids whether was spending a day at the beach or an afternoon watching movies. Those who knew her will miss the way she brought light and joy with her wherever she went.

She is survived by her husband Gene Handscom; their children, Melanie Handscom of Wrentham, Olivia Handscom and her fiancé Matt Oldenburg of Quincy, Jack Handscom of Wrentham, and Julia Handscom of Wrentham. She is also survived by her siblings; Terry and her husband Gesi Mancini Sudbury, Frieda and her husband Tony Carestia of Natick, Maria and her husband Roger Nelson of Millis, George Grigorian of Newton, and Paul Grigorian of Newton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Wednesday May 14, 2025, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin  Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, MA from 3:00-6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
