Obituary of Timothy “Petro” Petronelli

Please share a memory of Timothy “Petro” to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Timothy “Petro” Petronelli, 45, of Carver, MA, passed away peacefully on April 17th surrounded by loved ones at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and unwavering love for the people and passions that shaped his life.

He had a kind and generous heart, always ready to help others and offer a listening ear. A deep thinker and lover of books, he found peace in quiet moments of reading. He had a special bond with animals and a love for motorcycles, that brought him a sense of freedom and connection to the world around him. He had a wanderer’s spirit, the kind of soul who showed up when you least expected him but needed him most. His love of music and meditation brought him comfort and clarity, and he often sought out the quiet spaces in life where he could simply “be”. If you knew him, you loved him — his big heart, sarcastic humor, and authentic soul left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his Mother Rebecca Foley, Stepfather Thomas Foley, Sister Tanya Petronelli, his three beloved children TJ Petronelli, Nathan Petronelli and Astraea Anderson, his fiancée Kayla Anderson, Niece Hailey Kervick, Father David Petronelli, Stepmother Denise Petronelli, and Stepsister Amanda Coelho.  He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles, Sarah and Richard Howland, Robert and Sue Shedd, Nancy and Steve Hubbard and Tommy Gordon.  As well as many cousins and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Waiting to welcome him are his Grandparents Ann and Robert Shedd, and Guerino and Marianne Petronelli, his Aunts Martha Gordon and Carrie Petronelli along with countless friends who all meant so much to him. They’re all now by his side again, as they were in life — reminiscing, laughing, and watching over those who love and miss them.

His presence in our lives was a true gift, and his spirit will remain with us always.  Until we meet again, we promise to always look for your wink’s from beyond.

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Carver, MA 02330 on Saturday, May 10th from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a service at 12:30pm.
