Elizabeth (“Betty”) C. Hills, of Duxbury, Massachusetts died peacefully in her home after a brief illness on March 24, 2025. Betty was predeceased by her long-term partner, Carola T. von Kapff, and her parents, Lawrence P. Hills and Elizabeth (Kimberlin) Hills. 

Betty is survived by her step-brother, Daniel, his wife, Deborah Shearer and their children, Douglas H. Shearer and Darcy (Shearer) Lowen.  Betty was active in the community with the Council of Aging and the Duxbury Historical Society. 

She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her many dear friends. 

A burial and graveside service will take place at Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury, MA on May 28, 2025 at 10:30 am.
