Obituary of Joan M. Williams

Joan M. (Keller) Williams, 92, died March 19, 2025, at Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossings in Plymouth, MA.

Joan was born November 21, 1933, in Buxton, ND., the daughter of the late George and Amanda (Thompson) Keller. She was a 1955 graduate of the North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo, ND.

Joan moved several times in her life finally settling in Kingston, MA for 37 years before moving to Plymouth, MA in 2019. Before retiring, she was a realtor for many years for Jack Conway Realty in both Duxbury and Pembroke. Joan enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting and spending time visiting with family and friends. Faith was very important to Joan, and within that she found great comfort. She was also a longtime active member of the Mayflower Church in Kingston.

She is survived by her son Gregory Williams and his wife Beth of Plympton, MA. Grandchildren; Erika (Williams) Carroll, Sarah Williams, and Colin Williams. Two great granddaughters; Amelia and Avery Carroll. Joan is survived by many treasured nieces and nephews as well as extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved children; Jodi L. Williams and Chad M. Williams as well as her siblings; George Keller, Geraldine Gadberry, and Patricia Douglas. Joan will be missed by her family and friends.

Out of state services will be held at a later time.
