Audrey Lillian (Petterson) Howard died peacefully on March 24, 2025. She was born September 3,1935, in Holden, MA, to Iver and Lillian (Wagner) Petterson. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Howard, Jr. She is survived by her family and caretakers, Jennifer Powderly, Jonathan Powderly, and his wife Heather, all of Kingston, MA, along with their children, Liv and Max Colombo and Alli and Sean Powderly. She is predeceased by her siblings Robert Petterson, Louise Larrabee, Edythe McNutt, and Constance Fitch.

While living in Millbury, MA, Audie worked in the dental industry managing the front desk of Central New England Endodontics for many years. She and Bill retired to their beloved Cape house in Brewster, MA where they enjoyed many years of entertaining family and friends.  In 2011, Audrey moved to Kingston, MA to be closer to her family.  There she loved her neighbors, the kid’s activities and many family gatherings. Audie’s passion was gardening and she spent countless hours cultivating and manicuring her different yards.  She had a green thumb like no other and is best known for her daffodil front yard and her roses. Audie had an incredible sense of humor and truly cared for all people.

Jen, Jon, and Heather would like to thank the team who helped love and care for Audie - including Wendy, Kelli, Jeanne, Michelle, Lisa, Jerry and the remarkable staff at Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossings and Mbrace Homecare. Funeral Sevices will be private
