Virginia M. Grogan (Bradbury) 85 of Plymouth passed away peacefully on March 22nd surrounded by her family.

Virginia fondly known as “Ginny” the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” J. Grogan for more than 49 years, leaves behind her children Robert Grogan and his wife Lisa of Plymouth, daughter Diane Porrino and her husband Richard of Valrico, Florida and son William Grogan and his wife Michelle of Plymouth. Ginny will be missed by her grandchildren Kristen Olson, John Olson and wife Jessica, Shannon Moore, Joseph Grogan and wife Elizabeth, Steven Grogan and wife Mary, Melissa Grogan-Caristi and husband Colin, Ashley Grogan and Katie Porrino, and great grandchildren Sonny, Lyla, Walker, Madelynn and Polly.

Ginny was born on July 23,1939 to the late Jesse and Evelyn (Hanney) Bradbury. She grew up in Milton with her 3 brothers, Richard, Robert and David. While attending Milton High she met the love of her life Jack. In High School she enjoyed playing basketball, field hockey and tennis.  In 1957, Ginny graduated from Milton High and went on to attend Chandler Secretary School in Boston.

Jack and Ginny were married in 1959 and proceeded to move around the world due to his career in the Navy.  Upon returning to the states, they purchased their first home in Marshfield, then moved their family to Brockton and finally settled in Milton. After 26 years of working at Boston College’s School of Law, Ginny retired in 2001. She and Jack retired to Cape Cod where they spent their summers and enjoyed their winter months in Bonita Springs, Florida.  In retirement, she enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family and friends.

Services for Ginny will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home located at 216 Main St. Kingston, MA on Friday March 28th from 10am to 12pm with a service at 12, Ginny will be laid to rest at 2pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
