Rebecca Sides Cannata, 75, of Kingston passed away on February 15, 2025 in her home surrounded by loved ones and her beloved cat Chico. 

Rebecca was born in Scituate to Ralph and Ellen Sides on June 22, 1949. She went to High School at Scituate High and graduated in 1968. She worked as a bookkeeper for Truck Center of Braintree helping her husband Edward to establish his business and later for the John Carver Inn in Plymouth. She enjoyed creating, quilting, sewing and other crafts. 

Rebecca is survived by her children Edward Cannata III, and his wife Karen of Wareham, Nathan Cannata of Stoughton and Emily Cannata of Kingston. Her siblings Martha Totman of Scituate  and Daniel Sides of Scituate. She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Brother Wendell Sides and Sister Jane Curry. 

A celebration of life will be held at the clubhouse at Town & Country Estates in Kingston, MA on Sunday March 16, 2025 at 1:00pm
