James H. Morse Sr. Obituary

James H. Morse Sr., 71, passed away on January 29, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Marjorie Helen (Bratti) Morse. He is survived by his children, James H. Morse Jr and his wife Sheila, Heather M. Mahan and her husband Brendon and Samantha A. Morse and her late fiancé Michael Cazale. He was the loving grandfather of Megan Mahan, Darian Hall, Avrie Morse, Jase Cazale and Shaelyn Heiner. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Morse of Plymouth, Linda Valenzano of Sagamore Beach and Barbara Melich of Carver and the late Nancy Staron. 


James worked for over 50 years with Stadelmann Electric in Brockton, MA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, building of car and truck models. He loved John Wayne movies, his red pick up and more than anything. He love to spend time with his grandchildren.


James was always there when you needed him. He loved being with his family. He was known for making his famous apple pies, chicken, broccoli casserole, and Jack Daniels fudge. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.


Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 15th at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Carver, MA from 10:00 to 12:00pm.
