William D. Johnson, age 68, passed away on February 8th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at his home in Duxbury. Born on July 12th, 1956 in Massachusetts, he was a beloved son, father, and grandfather who spent his professional years lobstering and framing houses in New England.

William is remembered for his passion for the outdoors, landscaping projects, love of animals, and a larger-than-life personality. He had a laugh you could recognize from a room away and had a steadfast commitment to taking care of his animals despite his long battle with cancer and waning strength.

William is survived by his mother, Beverly Johnson; children, William Johnson and Diego San Miguel; grandchildren, Aurora Johnson, and River and Seven San Miguel; and siblings, Eric Johnson and Judi Foote. He will be deeply missed by the entire family, friends, and neighbors whose lives he touched.

In respect of William's wishes, a celebration of life will be held in the spring without any formal funeral service. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity or cause of your choice in William's memory.
