Please share a memory of Angela Luciano to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Angela Luciano Chase (52) passed away February 8th, 2025 at Massachusetts General Hospital from acute myeloid leukemia. She was born January 28th, 1973 in Newton, Massachusetts, where she spent her life until moving to Duxbury in 2003. She graduated from Northeastern University after studying sociology and worked in the special education department of Newton Public Schools until becoming a mom. She met her husband, Brooks, in seventh grade; they married in 1998 in Newton. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters and was a pillar of her family through the end of her life.

Angie will be remembered for her extraordinary selflessness and compassion, and the immense love she had for her family. Even while living with cancer, she was radiant and funny, and above all else, she was exceptionally brave. Her courage and humor, even in the face of her illness, continue to inspire the people in her life.

She is survived by her husband Brooks and their children, Abigail, Amelia, and Ava of Duxbury; her parents, Karen and Joseph Luciano of South Yarmouth; her sister, Julie Luciano-Stern of Walpole; and her brother, John Thomson and his wife Betsy Heffernan of Natick.

A public service will take place on Wednesday, February 12 from 3-7pm at Shepherd’s Funeral Home at 216 Main St, Kingston. There will be a private ceremony of her life for her immediate family at a later date. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, loved ones support the American Cancer Society.
