It is with great sadness the family of Nancy E. Shepherd announces her passing. Nancy passed on January 8, 2025, at the age of 85.

Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband Norman C. Shepherd. They were high school sweethearts who met in 1955 and were married for 52 years. Nancy was the daughter of Anna L. Hamilton. She was born in South Weymouth, graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School, and graduated from Quincy Hospital School of Nursing. She is survived by children: Michael J. Shepherd, Kristin J. Klaus (husband Joseph), and David P. Shepherd (wife Elaine). Her grandchildren: Michael J. Klaus (wife Viann), Leah K. McKnight (husband Zachary), Joseph J. Shepherd, Sarah Scott, and David P. Shepherd Jr. Siblings: Jayne L. Darsch (husband James), Joanne Bell (husband Steven), sister-in-laws Joan Hamilton and Liz Hamilton.

Predeceased by John R. Hamilton III, Robert L. Hamilton, James W. Hamilton, Peter Hamilton and Charles Hamilton . Also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Nancy was a CCD teacher, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, member of the Kingston Garden Club, and worked as a private duty nurse for many years.. She cared for her grandchildren and family members. Nancy most enjoyed attending her kids and grandkids' activities and games. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and beloved by all.We will miss her dearly but know she is at peace and now reunited with her husband, relatives, and friends.

Calling hours for Nancy will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 216 Main St. in Kingston, on Thursday January 16th, from 4 to 6pm.  A burial will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston, on Friday January 17th at 11am.
