Obituary of Jared Scott Denzler

Please share a memory of Jared to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jared Scott Denzler, 45 of New Bedford, MA passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, surrounded by those who loved and cared for him. He was a cherished son, brother and uncle. Jared left a legacy of kindness, warmth, and a drive not only to help those he loved but often even strangers.

Born on March 5, 1979 in Stoughton MA. Jared was the youngest child of Richard and Linda Denzler and little brother to Heath and Jill. He attended Silver Lake Regional High School, studied at Massasoit Community College and later became a Journeyman Lineman. His love for the water began as a very young child spending endless hours fishing and boating with his family. Jared enjoyed sharing his passion for the outdoors with those he loved, from being on the boat, going fishing, to snowboarding in the mountains, he had an unmatched energy.

A proud member of the I.B.E W Local 104 as a Journeyman Lineman, Jared, along with his brothers in the Union, put themselves in harm’s way, and put forth many sleepless hours to ensure we all had power during storms. Jared’s selfless nature was on full display when he used many contacts and showed up personally to make sure his sister would have power for Christmas during a storm.

Jared is survived by his mother Linda  Denzler, stepmother Joanne Denzler, sister Jill (Denzler) Berg and husband Brian, niece Analeise Burlone, nephew’s Bronson Berg, Tyler White, Caiden Denzler along with other surviving nieces and nephew, Shea Stuart, Samantha and Liam McDermott. He is also survived by a loving aunt, cousins and friends who considered him family. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Denzler, brother Heath Denzler. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all.

Visitation will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home on 216 Main St in Kingston MA on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 10am-12pm followed by a Memorial service at 12pm. Interment will be at Center Cemetery, Pembroke MA.
