Obituary of Christopher Glover

Christopher Glover, 47 of New Bedford, MA passed away on November 21 in New Bedford, surrounded by family. Chris was born in Quincy on March 25 1976. He attended Silver Lake Regional High School, graduating in 1994. Chris went on to earn a degree in computer technology. Chris worked at The Ferreira Group as the Senior Technical Manager for 17 years, where he took immense pride in his work. Chris’s passion for music inspired him to become a self taught musician excelling in the guitar. 

Chris enjoyed a vast variety of TV shows and movies, especially his obsession with Star Wars. He always had a kind word, silly remark or pop culture reference for anyone he crossed paths with. 

Chris is survived by his loving wife Fay & their children, Malcolm, Lilly and Katie, his Mother Nancy Glover of Acushnet, his brothers Gerard and his wife Andrea of Hull, Robie and his husband Jason of Dublin, OH, his sister Melissa and David Froio of Acushnet, his nephew Justin & nieces Harley, Kennedy & Brittney & his mother and father in law Dick & Windy Smith of Falmouth as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins & family. Chris is preceded in death by his father Robert W  Glover.

Visiting hours are Friday December 1 from 3pm-7pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main Street (Rt. 106) Kingston, MA.
