Obituary of Joyce H. Eddy

Joyce Mary Eddy, 89, of Carver, MA passed away suddenly on July 16, 2022. She was born September 12, 1932 to Joseph Harrington and Sarah Harrington in Hudson Falls, New York. Joyce married William E. Eddy on December 21, 1952, they had three daughters, Evelyn Sutliff, Lynn Cook and Sarah Rogers. She retired from AT&T in 1989. She had a passion for the Boston Bruins and would be found cheering or yelling for them all season long. She was also an avid reader. Joyce was known for her love for her family, being a great listener and a strong woman to admire.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Eddy, her daughter, Evelyn Sutliff and her son-in-law, Kenneth William Rogers, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Lynn Cook and her husband Dennis and Sarah Rogers, her granddaughters Kris Leary and husband Jay, Sarah Ann Franklin and husband Kenneth,  her grandson Timothy Cook and her great grandson, Kolton Franklin.

Funeral services will be private and are for immediate family only. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to the Standish Humane Society.
