Obituary of Gerald J. Dunleavy, Sr.

Gerald J. “Jerry" Dunleavy, Sr. of Pembroke passed away at home on October 5, 2018, while surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Virginia M. (O'Brien) Dunleavy. Father of Gerald and his wife Mary of Pembroke, Virginia Daniels of Halifax, Nancy Dunleavy of Pembroke, and Karen Dunleavy of Pembroke. Grandfather of Timothy Daniels and his wife Brooke of Dighton, Robert Daniels of Halifax, Gerald Daniels and his wife Lisa of Rockland, Michael Daniels of South Boston, Shawn Daniels of Halifax, Jeremy Dunleavy of Pembroke, and Jordan Dunleavy of Pembroke. Great Grandfather of Liam, Avarie, Caleb, Cali, Brendan, and Carson. Brother of Isabelle Coyne of Franklin and the late Bud Dunleavy and Jack Dunleavy. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 12th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday October 13th at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St, Hanson MA.
