Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Joseph V, Tessier Jr. 56, of Plymouth passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sept. 4, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Judith (Duffin) Tessier. Joe attended Brockton Public schools before spending over 30 years at Shaw’s Supermarkets where he worked as a Produce Manager.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing softball, hiking, golf, and biking as well as working in his yard. From ski trips up north and days spent on the beaches of Cape Cod with friends in earlier years to camping trips and vacations with his family, Joe embraced adventure and good times wherever he would go.

Joe was devoted to his family and his greatest joy was time spent with his wife and daughters who were the light of his life.

Joe was the loving husband to Cheryl (Twombly) and the proud, adoring father of Sarah and Melissa.

He is also survived by his brothers; Matthew and his wife Deborah of Odenton, MD., Daniel of Ipswich, Jefferey of Wareham and his sister Sandra Mealey and her husband Kevin of Middleboro as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles , brothers and sisters in-law and a very special group of lifelong friends. He was the son in law of Bernard Twombly Jr. and the late Joann (Moulton) Twombly.

Joe was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
