Obituary of Carol Ann Skillings

Carol Ann (Litchfield) Skillings, wife of the late V. Paul Skillings Jr. passed away peacefully on June 11, 2018 surrounded by loving family. 

Carol grew up in Hanover and graduated from Hanover High School in 1968. Throughout her life she loved to paint and sew. Her children's homes are filled with quilts, bags and paintings from her.  She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Carol had an infinite sweet tooth, and would often be seen eating chocolates and ice cream.
She worked at Saftler's Fabric for many years and worked various jobs until she retired from Staples in 2012.

Carol is survived by her 4 children, Matthew of Plymouth, Michael and his wife Anna of Plymouth, Katy and her husband Jason of Hanover, and Jennifer and her husband Bob of Woburn. She is also survived by her sister Donna (Litchfield) Bartley and half brother Peter and his wife Laurie of Plymouth. Carol, also known as "Gaga" will always be remembered and cherished by her grandchildren Lillian, Jesse, and Nicholas. 

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 15th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Meadowbrook restaurant in Hanson for food and drinks after the services from 6-9:00.
