Frank E. Costa, 91, passed away on June 3, 2018. Loving husband of Marjorie (Cook) Costa of 32 years. Father of Frank Costa and wife Joanne, Ethel Barthel and husband Jim, Sandy Manders and husband Chris, Susan Kohlwey and the late Donna Penney and the late Sharon Hart. Loving grandfather of twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. 
Frank was born in Boston, MA. He graduated from the Mechanic Arts High School. He proudly served his Country in WWII with the Army Air Force. He retired after many years with the Pembroke Highway Department and retired as the Captain of Company 1, with the Pembroke Fire Department. Frank was a member of he Halifax VFW 6258, he also was a member of the Oak Point Veterans Group. He served on the Pembroke Memorial Committee for over 50 years and was a member of MOC. He moved to Oak Point in Middleboro and was very active in all of their activities. Frank loved to work outdoors and he also worked with the Boy Scouts, troop 43 in Bryantville. 
Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke on Wednesday, June 6th from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A short Service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 7 at 9:30AM. A Comital Service will follow at the Center Cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations in a Frank’s name can be made to the Pembroke Fire Department or the charity of your choice.
