Obituary of Richard A. Walsh

Richard A. Walsh, 74, of Pembroke, and Winter Garden, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 15th, surrounded by his loving family. Richard is predeceased in death by parents, Lawrence and Mary (O’Malley) Walsh. Beloved husband of the his devoted and loving wife the late Maryann Walsh. He has 3 loving children Mary Walsh & her fiancee Kevin of Plymouth, Peter Walsh and his wife Kristin of Shutesberry, and Richard Walsh Jr. and his wife Lynne of Hanson. Brother to Barbara Escott of NH, Virginia Reardon and her husband Bob of Lady Lake, FL, Michael Walsh of Everett, and Marianne Walsh of Lady Lake, FL, and her husband the late Lawrence Walsh. Richard has 8 adoring Grandchildren Chelsea, Ashlyn, Jonathan, Matthew, Meagan, Timothy, Alexander, and Susannah. Richard also had 1 great grandson Lucas.

Member of IBEW Local 103 for 48 years.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday,  May 21st from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Maquan St., Hanson. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
