I'm writing in sympathy for the loss of Hope. I visited Riverhead's First Congregational Church now and then and afterwards had lunch a few times with Hope and other widows. It was good to get to know her better, as she had been best friends of my late sister-in-law Mildred "Milly" Wells (Hoag). They were both in the Riverhead High School class of 1941.
