Susanne C. Tousignant of Plymouth died on December 27, 2007. She was 68 years old. Mrs. Tousignant was a fulltime Mother and homemaker who raised her six children. She was also a surrogate Mother for troubled teens and has helped many children through difficult times. Mrs. Tousignant was very active in her community. She was a citizens band radio member, and organized many different fundraising events. She held fire fundraisers for families affected by home fires, and she also held numerous Christmas drives for disadvantaged children. One of Mrs. Tousignant loves in life was to travel Mrs. Tousignant is survived by her Husband Gerard Tousignant of Plymouth. Loving Mother of Carol Rudick of Weymouth, James Tousignant of Braintree, John Tousignant of NH, Diane Peters of Braintree, Daniel Tousignant of NH, and Robert Tousignant of NH. Sister of Raymond Milkey of Dorchester. Cherished Grandmother of 8, and Great Grandmother of 2. Also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 30th from 2-4:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Church, S. Meadow Rd. Plymouth on December 31st at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Allegiance Hospice, 67 Middle St, Lowell, MA 01852.
