Obituary of Grace Doran

Grace V. Doran of Kingston died on December 22, 2007. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Doran was born, raised, and educated in Boston. Following her schooling she married her Husband John E. Doran Sr. who was a longtime member of the Boston Police Department. Mrs. Doran was a homemaker who raised her four children. Two of her favorite things in life were to sing, and dance. Mrs. Doran is the Wife of the late John E. Doran Sr. Loving mother of Dolores Miller of Halifax, Valerie Henderson of FL, Maureen Elwood of Kingston, and the late John E. Doran Jr. Cherished Grandmother of 7, and Great Grandmother of 7. She is also survived by many Nieces, and Nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 27th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. A Funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 272 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston on Friday, December 28th at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the Central Cemetery in Halifax.
